Anyone play with replacing their brake rotors and or wheels to lighter versions? I heard it is suppose to make a bit of difference to acceleration and possibly mileage...
About 2 weeks before I bought my Prius, I had mag wheels and some lower rr tires put on my Saturn. It seemed to make a significant difference in gliding distances. I had to completely change all of my landmarks for when I would start a glide and the speeds I started them at. That, along with the mods Mike made to the head, I believe is responsible for my son being able to hit 75.9 mpg over 867 miles and a couple of other tanks in the low 70's at 890 and 929 miles.
